The Creighton Bluejays won 22 games last year and enter the 12th season under coach Greg McDermott.

The Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions lost a ton of production from last season, including their only double-digit scorer in Shaun Doss Jr. However, the Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions only won four games last season, so maybe a new-looking roster isn’t a bad thing. Arkansas-Pine Bluff is 8-47 SU in its last two seasons combined. Dequan Morris returns after averaging 8.8 points and 4.3 rebounds, while AJ Stredic averaged 1.5 points and 0.4 assists. Travonta Doolittle averaged 5.7 minutes per game last season and Kshun Stokes averaged 6.9 minutes per game.

The Creighton Bluejays say goodbye to their top-five scorers from last season, so there’s a lot of production to replace. The good news for Creighton is it brings in a quality recruiting class, including four 4-star players. Players such as Arthur Kaluma, Ryan Nembhard, Mason Miller and Trey Alexander will make immediate impacts. Ryan Kalkbrenner returns after averaging 5.9 points and 3.5 rebounds, while Alex O’Connell averaged 3.4 points and 0.5 assists. Shereef Mitchell dished 1.5 assists per game last season, and Sami Osmani averaged 2.4 minutes per game.

The Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions have been horrible these last two seasons, and now they have a new roster that may take some growing pains to break through. The Creighton Bluejays lost a lot of production themselves, but they also have a stacked recruiting class coming in, and that certainly helps matters. This is a game where Creighton should be able to run its opponent out of the building and get off to a fast start.
