The Kansas Jayhawks and the Creighton Bluejays meet Wednesday in college basketball action from CenturyLink Center Omaha. Here’s a Creighton vs Kansas prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Creighton vs Kansas pick.
Kansas Jayhawks Betting Preview
This year the Jayhawks have kicked off their season with a seven-game undefeated run. Those victories have come courtesy of Howard, North Carolina, Michigan State, Oakland, UNC Wilmington, Duke, and Furman in succession.
In the Furman game on Saturday, Kansas was up by 11 points going into the second half. The Jayhawks finished on a 47-23 run for the blowout win 86-51. KJ Adams led the team with 22 points with six rebounds.
Creighton Bluejays Betting Preview
Over on the Creighton side, they won their first four over UTRGV, Fairleigh Dickinson, Houston Christian, and Kansas City. After losses to Nebraska, San Diego State, and Texas A&M in the next three, the Jays took out Notre Dame on Saturday.
In the weekend game versus the Irish, Creighton held a 10-point advantage in the locker room. The Bluejays had to hang on through a 46-40 deficit from there but still won 80-76. Jamiya Neal was tops on 21 points with nine rebounds in the victory.

Creighton vs Kansas Prediction
I’ll stick with Kansas, but you could make a case either way. The Jayhawks are coming off a pretty easy win over a decent Furman team, hitting an excellent 60.9 percent from the field with 42 rebounds and 25 team assists. The Jayhawks have scored 75 or more points in every game so far this year, and they’ve only allowed more than 69 points twice (versus a pair of ranked opponents in North Carolina and Duke).
As for Creighton, they were able to get back on track versus Notre Dame on Saturday but the second half wasn’t perfect. The Jays came away with a nice shooting percentage (49.1) however. Creighton had a couple of sub-64-point games during their recent losing streak but generally, they’ve scored pretty well this year. Up against a difficult team like Kansas though, I’m not sure the Jays can keep a cover pace—even at home.
