Radford got off to a 1-4 start with losses to Virginia, Virginia Tech, Furman and Navy. The Highlanders won three versus William & Mary, Eastern Kentucky and Kentucky Christian, then lost to West Virginia, James Madison and George Washington.

Back on Monday versus George Washington, the Highlanders were down 27-22 at the break and limped to a 67-58 defeat. Rashun Williams led the team on 14 points with eight rebounds, and Bryan Hart had 11 points with four boards.

Over on the Davidson side, they lost two of their first three games to San Francisco and New Mexico State. Since then the Wildcats have beaten Penn, East Carolina, Robert Morris, Charlotte, William & Mary and Northeastern in succession.

In the matchup versus Northeastern, the Wildcats posted 38 points in the first half and 41 more from there in a solid 79-69 victory. Top scorer Foster Loyer put up 35 points with three rebounds, three steals and 8-of-12 from 3-point range.

The Wildcats are 5-1 ATS in their last six at home and 6-0 ATS in their last six overall. Davidson is 5-1 ATS in their last six on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the Highlanders are 1-6 ATS in their last seven road games and 4-11 ATS in their last 15 overall. Radford is 10-24-1 ATS in their last 35 Saturday games.

PICK: I’m sticking with Davidson. The Wildcats are coming off a nice game versus Northeastern, shooting 49.2 percent from the field with 29 rebounds and 17 team assists. It’s been a good offensive run for Davidson; they’ve hit 70 or more points in each of the last six.

As for Radford, they’ve been at 58 or fewer points in two of their last three games. The Highlanders are likely going to need a good offensive showing in this one to cover, and I don’t think they’ll get there.
