RayJ Dennis has 13.9 PPG with a team-high 6.6 APG to lead the Bears in the assist department as well as logging 3.7 RPG while Langston Love has 10.8 PPG and Jalen Bridges has 10.5 PPG with 4.2 RPG. Yves Missi has 10.1 PPG with a team-high 6.2 RPG to lead the Bears on the glass, rounding out the group of double-digit scorers for Baylor up to this point in the year. The Duke Blue Devils come into this one looking to build on back-to-back wins after an 89-68 win over Hofstra last time out. Kyle Filipowski leads the Blue Devils in scoring and rebounding with 18.4 PPG and 9.2 RPG while Jeremy Roach has 14.8 PPG with 3.3 APG. Tyrese Proctor has 10.3 PPG with a team-high 4.5 APG to lead the Blue Devils in the assist department this season. Mark Mitchell has 11.4 PPG with 4.9 RPG to cap off the scoring in double figures for the Blue Devils this season. As a team, Duke is averaging 81.6 PPG on 48.5% shooting from the field, 36.9% from three and 72.5% from the foul line this season. Duke is 7-3 in the ACC, with the same number of wins as Wake Forest, NC State, and North Carolina.

Baylor vs. Duke Prediction

I’m sticking with Duke here. I know it’s important to not overreact after one game, but I truly didn’t like what I saw from the Bears against Michigan State and now on back-to-back trips away from home, the Bears have to go in and pick up the pieces against an athletic Duke team with strong guard play. I’d check the status in Tyrese Proctor here, but even if Proctor doesn’t go, I think Duke can get it done here.
