Matchup History

Duke’s 57-43 win over Notre Dame back on January 31st, 2022, made it eight wins in the last nine meetings between these two teams.

Notre Dame is 7-19 ATS in their last 26 games overall and 4-11 ATS in their last 15 games against a team with a winning record while the over is 8-1-2 in their last 11 games overall. Duke is 2-9 ATS in their last 11 games overall and 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games following an ATS loss while the under is 3-1-1 in their last 5 games overall.

I get why Duke’s favored here, but I’m not backing the Blue Devils in their current form, even at home against a miserable Notre Dame team. We really haven’t seen much of a killer instinct from Duke in conference play outside of doubling up Georgia Tech a couple of weeks ago and the games they’re winning, more often than not have been fairly close. Notre Dame isn’t a great team, but there’s enough there that the Irish could keep this game respectable. Give me Notre Dame and the points.
