Evansville has a great player in Jawaun Newton, however, this is a team that has really struggled offensively this season as they come into this game ranked just 328th in scoring offense, 287th in FG%, & 210th in 3P-FG%. Eastern Illinois hasn’t had much success on both ends of the court, however, this is a team that has played better at home this season, posting a 1-1 record with their loss being a tight, 62-61, battle against Central Michigan. Both Evansville & Eastern Illinois are not good teams, however, as I just can’t trust an Evansville team on the road that has had trouble scoring the basketball and is allowing opponents to shoot 47.4% from the field, I think the play here is to take Eastern Illinois and the points. Good Luck!
