Eastern Illinois led by a 52-44 margin with just 7:33 left in regulation, however, the offensive struggled down the stretch and Albany was able to pull off the victory after hitting a game-winning three-pointer as time expired. Eastern Illinois shot 40.3% from the field & 52.9% from beyond the arc while allowing Albany to shoot 44.2% from the field & 38.1% from beyond the arc. Eastern Illinois outrebounded Albany by a 35-30 margin, however, lost the turnover battle by a 12-11 margin in the loss. Leading the way for the Panthers was Kashawn Charles who had 14 points, 7 rebounds, & 1 assist.

Both Evansville & Eastern Illinois are not good teams, however, as I just can’t trust an Evansville team on the road that has had trouble scoring the basketball and is allowing opponents to shoot 47.4% from the field, I think the play here is to take Eastern Illinois and the points.
