The Northern Illinois Huskies will travel to the Convocation Center (MI) to take on the Eastern Michigan Eagles this Tuesday night in College Basketball action.

The Northern Illinois Huskies had their 2-game winning streak snapped and dropped to 8-17 on the season after being defeated by the Miami (OH) RedHawks, 78-75, this past Saturday. In a tight back-and-forth game in the 2nd half, Miami (OH) was able to secure the victory after Dae Dae Grant hit a pair of game-winning FT’s with just :08 seconds left in regulation. The Eastern Michigan Eagles lost their 2nd straight game and dropped to 9-18 on the season after being defeated by the Akron Zips, 67-48, this past Saturday. Eastern Michigan struggled on both ends of the court against Akron and could not fight back after the Zips took a 39-24 lead into halftime. The Huskies are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games, however, are just 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games against Eastern Michigan. The Eagles are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games & 1-5 ATS in their last 6 home games.

Both Northern Illinois & Eastern Michigan have struggled on both ends of the ball as of late, however, despite having the worse record, I’ve been far more impressive from what I’ve seen from Northern Illinois this season which includes road wins at Washington, Akron, & Toledo. Eastern Michigan has lost 7 of their last 8 games and as I think the Huskies will be able to find some defensive success against an Eastern Michigan offense that ranks just 214th in scoring offense & 248th in FG%, I’m taking Northern Illinois and the points. Good Luck!
