PICK: I’m going to try Fairfield here. The Stags are coming off a pretty nice game versus Sacred Heart, shooting 40.3 percent from the floor with a 41-27 rebounding advantage. Fairfield had 15 team assists and only six turnovers in the win.
As for Stony Brook, they shot a decent 43.9 percent versus Sacred Heart, but were out-rebounded 41-32 and allowed 52.5 percent shooting from the Pioneers. If Fairfield can put up another strong effort in this one I think they’ll be fine on a cover.
