The Wagner Seahawks and the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights meet Thursday in college basketball action from Rothman Center. Wagner is sitting at 19-3 so far this year. The Seahawks beat Central CT State in their last game. As for Fairleigh Dickinson, they’re currently 3-20 and coming off a loss to Bryant. Wagner posted a spotty 3-2 run in their first five games. The Seahawks would then hit a nice 14-game win streak that stretched from December 16 to February 10. After a loss to Merrimack, the Seahawks took out Sacred Heart and Central CT State.

PICK: I’m going to stay with Wagner here. The Seahawks are looking good these days; they’ve got just the one overtime loss to Merrimack since December 8. Wagner is putting up the points well during this run; they’ve hit 69 or more points in 12 of their last 13 victories. The last time these teams met up back on January 17, Wagner pulled off a 95-64 blowout win at home. This one will likely be closer but I don’t think the outcome will be much different.
