The North Florida Ospreys and the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles meet Wednesday in college basketball action from Alico Arena. North Florida enters this one at 4-9 so far. The Ospreys beat Trinity Baptist in their last game. As for Florida Gulf Coast, they’re 10-4 on the year and coming off a loss to Canisius. North Florida stumbled out of the gate with some tough matchups this year, losing their first five games. A 2-2 stretch came next, then losses to Florida Atlantic and Florida before wins over Austin Peay and Trinity Baptist.

PICK: I’m probably going to stick with Florida Gulf Coast. The Eagles had a bad first half against Canisius in their last game which led to their latest loss. Prior to that, FGCU had been on a four-game win streak with 67 or more points in each game. In comparable matchups this year, the Eagles have normally been able to score pretty well. The Ospreys should be able to keep up initially here, but I like Florida Gulf Coast on the eventual cover.
