Coastal Carolina’s Defense Wasn’t Good Enough

Coastal Carolina comes into this game with a 1-1 record but on Thursday the offense wasn’t good enough. Coastal Carolina scored 77 points, but the defense gave up 86 points and that led to the defeat. Furman’s Defense Struggled on Thursday

On Thursday Furman faced off against the Liberty Flames and they gave up 88 points on the way to the defeat. In the second half they gave up 50 points and the defense is going to need to be better here. Furman was led by Marcus Foster and he had quite the game putting up 30 points, five rebounds, and one assist. Furman overall this season is averaging 85.7 points while their defense is giving up 77.3 points per game. The defense is ranked 295th and the defense will need to step up here.
