Georgetown Hoyas Betting Preview

The Georgetown Hoyas are 10-2 this year after they defeated Seton Hall by a score of 61-60 in their last game. Georgetown led 32-23 at halftime and they were able to get the win, despite scoring just 29 points in the second half. The Hoyas shot 53.5% from the field, 33.3% on three pointers, and 50% on free throws in the game. Thomas Sorber led Georgetown with 19 points and eight rebounds in the win.

Georgetown vs Coppin State Prediction

Coppin State was able to get their first win of the season against Navy last time out, but they have still been one of the worst teams in the country this year and they are on the road here. The Eagles are shooting just 35.9% from the field and they are scoring 55.5 points per game. Georgetown has won three games in a row against three decent teams and their defense has been elite, allowing just 60 and 57 points in their last two. I do think the Hoyas pick up an easy win, but I am taking the points with Coppin State, as I don’t see the motivation for Georgetown to win by almost 30.
