In this article, we will formulate a Gonzaga vs Baylor Prediction for this college basketball game onMonday, November 4th, at Spokane Arena.

Baylor Continues to Reload

Baylor has lost four of it’s five starters from last year, but there is no concern, this team feels like they are a title contender again. Ja’Kobe Walter and Yves Missi were both selected in the first round last year, but they feel they have reloaded even with the talent gone. Even with some key players gone, they got some key transfers in, that can be difference makers. Jeremy Roach was a star for during his Duke career, but he has decided to go to the lone star state for his last season.

This Baylor team can’t be talked about without mentioning VJ Edgecomb who will probably be a lottery pick after this season is over. He was the top ranked shooting guard coming into college this season, and he’s expected to have a big role from the start of this year. In this game, Baylor can’t fall behind early.

Can Gonzaga Win The Title?

The Gonzaga Bulldogs finished last season with a 27-8 record, and they went 14-2 during conference play. Gonzaga is a loaded roster, and there has been a ton of chatter about how good they have looked heading into the season. Ryan Nembhard was a standout last year for Gonzaga, and he was a big difference maker for the team. Gonzaga averaged 12.6 points while dishing out 6.9 assists per game.

One of the big transfers in was Khalif Batttle who was a standout last year at Arkansas averaged 14.8 points while shooting 40.6 percent from the field. Graham Ike averaged 16.5 points per game and if they are going to find success in that game they are going to need him to have a huge game. If Ike struggles, this could be a very long game for them.

Gonzaga vs Baylor Prediction

If this game was played later in the season, I would probably side with Baylor, but this Gonzaga team just has so much offensive talent back from last year. Gonzaga’s offense is elite, and they are going to have no issue running up the score. The Baylor offense isn’t going to be as good as they need to be. Gonzaga is going over 80 points, and they are going to come out on top. Back Gonzaga against the spread.
