The Portland Pilots and the Gonzaga Bulldogs meet in college basketball action from the McCarthey Athletic Center on Saturday.
The Portland Pilots will be out to build on a 92-87 win over San Francisco in their last game. I get the case to be made for either side in this game, but I’m backing the Bulldogs here. Portland is a shell now of the team that gave UNC fits in a midseason tournament a couple of months ago. Gonzaga has had some close calls as of late but those games have been on the road. At home, the Zags have been dominant, and the Bulldogs have a history of beating up on the Pilots. I’ll lay the points with the Bulldogs in a rout.
