The Seattle Redhawks and the Grand Canyon Antelopes meet Thursday in college basketball action from GCU Arena. Seattle is currently 17-4 this year. The Redhawks beat Sam Houston in their last outing. Seattle started the year at 8-4 through their first dozen games. The Redhawks have hit a winning streak versus Northwest U, Chicago State, Utah Valley, Dixie State, Cal Baptist, Abilene Christian, Tarleton, Stephen F. Austin and Sam Houston since then.
In the Sam Houston matchup, the Seattle was down 30-39 at the break. The Redhawks hit a 48-24 surge in the second half in a 78-63 comeback victory. Top scorer Darrion Trammell put up 20 points with two boards and five rebounds.
Over on the Grand Canyon side, their first 16 games were a 14-2 run with losses to only Wyoming and Arizona State. The Antelopes have lost their last three games to Stephen F. Austin, Sam Houston and New Mexico State.

PICK: I’m going to stay with Seattle in this one. The Redhawks have been on an epic run since December 22. They’ve hit 70 or more points in each of their last nine games and are playing very well despite a couple of close calls along the way.
As for Grand Canyon, they’ve had some bad luck over their last few games but I fully expect the Antelopes to rise to the occasion here. Should be a really fun game to watch, and I like Seattle on the cover a little better.
