The Presbyterian Blue Hose and the Hampton Pirates meet in college hoops action from the Hampton Convocation Center on Saturday afternoon.
The Presbyterian Blue Hose will be out to rebound from a 78-77 loss to Charleston Southern in OT last time out. Rayshon Harrison leads the Blue Hose in scoring with 17.5 PPG along with 5.6 RPG and 2.5 APG while Winston Hill has 12.2 PPG with 6.2 RPG to lead the Pirates on the glass and to make up the other hand of the duo of double-digit scorers for Presbyterian this season. I get the case that could be made for Hampton being favored because they’re at home and Presbyterian hasn’t been the most reliable on the road. But side-by-side, the Blue Hose have outscored teams by 1.0 PPG in their last 5 games while the Pirates are being outscored by 4.6 PPG and in a close game I think I’ll want the free point with Presbyterian that actually could come in handy.
