The Northeastern Huskies and the Harvard Crimson meet in college basketball action from the Lavietes Pavilion on Saturday afternoon.

The Northeastern Huskies will look to bounce back from a 71-61 loss to Colorado State in their last game. Shaquille Walters leads the Huskies in scoring with 13 PPG while Chris Doherty has 12.3 PPG and 8.8 RPG to lead the Huskies on the glass and Jamyl Telfort has 12 PPG and a team-high 2.7 APG as well this season. Nikola Djogo also has 10 PPG and 4.8 RPG as well for Northeastern so far this season. As a team, Northeastern is averaging 60.3 PPG on 44.5% shooting from the field, 29.1% from three and 68.7% from the foul line while Allowing 61.5 PPG on 39.4% shooting from the field and 25.6% from three this season.

The Harvard Crimson will be out to add to an 89-84 OT win over Colgate last time out. Chris Ledlum leads Harvard in scoring with 17.5 PPG and 8.7 RPG to lead the Crimson on the glass as well while Noah Kirkwood has 17.3 PPG with 5.3 RPG and Luka Sakota has 12.5 PPG and a team-high 3.2 APG as well this season. Northeastern is 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games following a double-digit home loss and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games against a team with a winning record while the under is 6-1 in their last 7 games following a double-digit home loss. Harvard is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall and 2-11 ATS in their last 13 games following a win while the over is 4-1 in their last 5 games overall.

I’m having a hard time talking myself into Northeastern here as the Huskies just haven’t been great against the number. Harvard’s had their moments as well but this is a Crimson team that’s played their best at home by far and are looking more and more like a team that didn’t have to cancel their season last year. I’ll lay the bucket with Harvard here.
