The UC-Santa Barbara Gauchos and the Hawaii Warriors meet in college hoops action from the Stan Sheriff Center on Saturday night.

The UC-Santa Barbara Gauchos will look to build on their 72-45 win over CSU-Northridge last time out. Amadou Sow leads the Gauchos in scoring and rebounding with 15.9 PPG and 7.9 RPG while Miles Norris has 11 PPG with 5.3 RPG and Ajare Sanni has 10.7 PPG, 2.9 APG and 2.9 RPG to cap off the trio of double-digit scorers for UCSB so far this season. Ajay Mitchell’s dished out a team-high 4.6 APG as well this season. As a team, UC-Santa Barbara is averaging 75.4 PPG on 49.2% shooting from the field, 33.6% from three and 70.5% from the foul line while allowing 66.3 PPG on 40.8% shooting from the field and 32.3% from three this season.

The Hawaii Warriors will look to add to their 72-65 win over CSU-Northridge last time out. Noel Coleman leads the Warriors in scoring with 15.8 PPG while Bernardo da Silva has 13.1 PPG with 8.2 RPG and Jerome Desrosiers has 11.8 PPG with 8 RPG. Junior Madut has 11.1 PPG to cap off the group of double-digit scorers for the Warriors this season. JoVon McClanahan also has a team-high 3.7 APG as well for the Warriors this season. As a team, Hawaii is averaging 73.4 PPG on 46.1% shooting from the field, 37.2% from three and 75% from the foul line while allowing 65.7 PPG on 41.6% shooting from the field and 31.9% from three this season.

UC-Santa Barbara is 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games overall and 1-6 ATS in their last 7 road games while the over is 5-0 in their last 5 road games against a team with a winning home record. Hawaii is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 Saturday games and 7-15 ATS in their last 22 games as a favorite while the over is 7-1 in their last 8 games as a home favorite.

Does this line feel a bit off? Sure, but sometimes it’s just a bad line that we can take advantage of. The Warriors are red hot right now and as always, they’re doing their best work at home and taking full advantage of the time change on visitors. UCSB got a big win last time out, but the Gauchos still lost five straight on the road before that so I’ll side with Hawaii to keep up their home form with a win and cover here.
