Weber State led by a 65-60 margin with just 3:52 left in regulation, however, the Wildcats struggled offensively down the stretch and Eastern Washington was able to pull away for the victory after closing out the game on a 15-2 run. Weber State shot 44.1% from the field & 37.5% from beyond the arc while allowing Eastern Washington to shoot 44.3% from the field & 33.3% from beyond the arc. Leading the way for the Wildcats was Seikou Sisoho Jawara who had 24 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block, & 2 steals.

On the season, Weber State is averaging 77.5 ppg on 47.4% shooting from the field. The Wildcats are averaging 7.6 three-pointers per game on 34.1% shooting from beyond the arc. Offensively, Weber State has been led by Koby McEwen (17.7 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 2.2 apg, 1.2 spg), Seikou Sisoho Jawara (13.1 ppg, 2.2 rpg, 2.9 apg, 1.2 spg), Dillon Jones (12.4 ppg, 10.7 rpg, 2.6 apg, 1.7 spg), & JJ Overton (12.4 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 1.4 apg, 1.5 spg).

The Idaho Vandals lost their 4th straight game and dropped to 5-18 on the season after being defeated by the Idaho State Bengals, 79-70, this past Thursday. Idaho had no answers on the defensive end against Idaho State and could not fight back after the Bengals took a 71-59 lead with 5:19 left in regulation. Idaho shot 43.3% from the field & 28.0% from beyond the arc while allowing Idaho State to shoot 50.9% from the field & 40.7% from beyond the arc. Leading the way for the Vandals was Mikey Dixon who had 22 points, 4 rebounds, & 2 assists.

On the season, Idaho is averaging 72.6 ppg on 42.9% shooting from the field. The Vandals are averaging 8.2 three-pointers per game on 36.6% shooting from the field. Offensively, Idaho has been led by Mikey Dixson (17.1 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 1.8 apg), Trevante Anderson (13.3 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 3.4 apg), Rashad Smith (9.7 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 1.3 apg), & Tanner Christensen (8.0 ppg, 6.2 rpg, 1.0 apg).

Defensively, Idaho is allowing their opponents to average 80.3 ppg on 48.0% shooting from the field. The Vandals have a rebound margin of -2.9 and a turnover margin of -2.6.

The Wildcats are 4-0 Ats in their last 4 road games vs. a team with a losing home record, however, are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall. The Vandals are 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 Saturday games, however, are just 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 home games.

Idaho was competitive against some of the better Big Sky teams earlier this season, which included an ATS cover at Weber State, however, the Vandals have really struggled defensively this season, ranking 346th in scoring defense & 342nd in defensive FG%, and it’s concerning to see the Vandals struggle at home against an Idaho State team that is one of the worst teams in all of College Basketball. Weber State is coming off back-to-back losses, however, this is still a very good team that is led by an offense that ranks t-44th in scoring offense & 33rd in FG%, and as I think the Wildcats have no problem putting up plenty of points in this one, I think Weber State pulls away in the 2nd half and covers this spread. Good Luck!
