Iowa Knocks Off Seton Hall

The Iowa Hawkeyes come into this game looking to build on their 85-72 win over Seton Hall last time out. Ben Krikke leads the Hawkeyes in scoring with 18.3 PPG along with 5 RPG while Payton Sandfort has 15 PPG with a team-high 8.5 RPG to lead the Hawkeyes on the glass this season. Tony Perkins has 11.3 PPG with 5.7 RPG and 2.8 APG while Patrick McCaffery has 11.3 PPG with 3.8 RPG to round out the group of double-digit scorers for Iowa so far this season. Owen Freeman also has 9.3 PPG and Brock Harding and Dasonte Bowen each have a team-high 3.3 APG as well to lead the Hawkeyes in assists this season. As a team, Iowa is averaging 88.7 PPG on 47.8% shooting from the field, 33.1% from three and 75% from the foul line this season.

Chris’ Pick

I’m backing the Hawkeyes here. I have to give North Florida some credit for hanging around against superior opponents this season, but there’s also the fact that this is still a big step up in class and the Hawkeyes have been known to bury opponents at home in non-conference play. I just have a feeling that this won’t bode well for the Ospreys when all is said and done and I look for Iowa to win this game by 25+. Give me Iowa.
