Lamar Cardinals
Over on the Lamar side, they went 6-14 over their first 20 outings of the season. The Cardinals are 3-5 since then, taking losses to Texas A&M-Commerce, Northwestern State (twice), Texas A&M-CC and Houston Christian in that stretch.

I’m going to stick with Southeastern Louisiana. The Lions are mired in a 1-4 slump right now, but at least they were able to stop the four-game losing streak with a win over Texas A&M-Commerce on Saturday. The good news is that Southeastern LA has been scoring well lately; they’ve hit 66 or more points in 14 straight games. These teams last played each other back on January 7 in an overtime win 89-84 for the Lions at University Center. With the change in venue Lamar will be able to take control if they play well. I like a competitive matchup here with the Lions powering out a cover.
