The Detroit Titans and the Louisville Cardinals meet in college basketball action from the KFC Yum! Center on Saturday afternoon.

The Detroit Titans will look to bounce back from a 77-64 loss at the hands of Mississippi State in their last game. Antoine Davis has a team-high 17.7 PPG and 2.7 APG while Kevin McAdoo and Madut Akec each have 13 PPG with Akec logging a team-high 8.3 RPG to cap off the trio of double-digit scorers for Detroit up to this point in the season. As a team, Detroit is averaging 61.3 PPG on 39% shooting from the field, 32.5% from three and 65.6% from the foul line while allowing 81 PPG on 53.8% shooting from the field and 39.3% from three this season.

The Louisville Cardinals will look to build off of their 77-60 win over Navy in their last game. Noah Locke leads the Cardinals in scoring with 16 PPG while Matt Cross has 11 PPG as the only other double-digit scorer for Louisville up to this point in the year. Samuell Williamson has 9.7 PPG and 6 RPG while Jae’Lyn Withers has 9.3 PPG and 6.7 RPG. Mason Faulkner has a team-high 4.3 APG and Malik Williams has 9.3 RPG to lead the Cardinals on the glass this season. As a team, Louisville is averaging 73.7 PPG on 43.5% shooting from the field, 29.6% from three and 68.5% from the foul line while allowing 66.7 PPG on 37.3% shooting rom the field and 31.5% from three this season.

Detroit is 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a loss and 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 Saturday games while the over is 8-1 in their last 9 games against a team with a winning percentage above .600. Louisville is 1-9-1 ATS in their last 11 games following an ATS win and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games following a SU win while the under is 4-0 in their last 4 home games against a team with a losing road record.

This feels like a lot of points to be giving up, but realistically, I want no part of the Titans until Detroit shows me consistently that they can have the kind of secondary scoring needed to keep themselves in games against better teams. It happened against Mississippi State, but the Cardinals are picking up steam and I think the Titans are just in their way here. Give me Louisville in a game the Cardinals win by 20+.
