The Southern Jaguars lost two of their three double-digit scorers from last season, including arguably their best player in Samkelo Cele. There may be some adjusting to do this season for Southern. Jayden Saddler returns after averaging 11.1 points and 3.8 rebounds, while Ahsante Shivers averaged 10 points and 1.3 assists. Terrell Williams dished 1.6 assists last season, and Brendon Brooks averaged 3.2 assists last season.

The Louisville Cardinals say goodbye to their top-two scorers from last season, but they have a lot of returning depth. Louisville also landed a Florida transfer in Noah Locke as well as two 4-star recruits in Mike James and Roosevelt Wheeler. The Louisville Cardinals once again won’t be pushovers in a stacked ACC. Jae’Lyn Withers returns after averaging 10.1 points and 7.7 rebounds, while Samuell Williamson averaged 9.6 points and 1.2 assists. Dre Davis dished 1.1 assists last season and Malik Williams averaged 6 rebounds.

The Jaguars are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 road games and 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games overall. The Cardinals are 20-7-2 ATS in their last 29 Tuesday games. The over is 5-2 in Jaguars last 7 overall. The under is 4-1 in Cardinals last 5 home games.

The Southern Jaguars lost a lot of key players from last season, and they just don’t have the talent to replace it so quickly. The Louisville Cardinals return a lot of role players from a year ago and landed one of the better transfers of the off season who will make an immediate impact. There’s just a massive talent gap between these two teams. Give me Louisville in a comfortable home victory.
