The Wright State Raiders will be looking to rebound from a 102-97 double OT loss to Davidson in their last game. Trey Calvin led the Raiders with 37 points on 14 of 33 shooting with 4 assists and 3 steals while Amari Davis had 17 points on 7 of 15 shooting with a team-high 13 rebounds for the double-double. I get the reasoning for Louisville being favored as the power conference team at home, but the reality is that this Louisville team just isn’t built for success long term. I just flat out don’t think they’re a good team and we saw that in the opener against Bellarmine. Wright State lost their two top scorers from last year, but at least brought in comparable pieces to fill the void and I think we’re getting points with a Wright State team that’s as good as, if not better than, this Louisville group. Give me the Raiders and the points.
