Auburn was 11-3 over their first 14 games this year, losing to Memphis, USC and Georgia during that stretch. The Tigers have since won three straight over Arkansas, Ole Miss and Mississippi State.
In the Mississippi State game on Saturday, Auburn took a 30-22 lead into the half. The Tigers were outscored 41-39 from there but held on for the win 69-63. Jaylin Williams was the top scorer on the team with 21 points and seven boards.

Matched up against Alabama back on Saturday, the Tigers were drilled 59-22 in the first half. LSU didn’t end up getting any closer after 44 second-half points in a 106-66 loss. KJ Williams and Cam Hayes were the top scorers on 10 points each.
ANDREW’S FREE PICK
I’ll probably stick with Auburn in this one. The Tigers were able to handle a pretty good Mississippi State team in their last outing, and they’ve won five of their last six games. Auburn has done a nice job on defense lately; they’ve given up 63 or fewer points in four of those six outings. As for LSU, they’ve faced some tricky teams during this 0-4 stretch and haven’t eclipsed 66 points in any of their last three outings. If LSU doesn’t bounce back quickly I don’t think they’ll keep a cover pace here.
