The Missouri Tigers will play the LSU Tigers in a SEC game on Saturday night at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Let’s take a look at the Missouri preview, LSU preview, betting matchup, and the Missouri vs LSU prediction.

Missouri Preview

The Missouri Tigers are 8-22 (0-17) this year after they lost to Auburn by a score of 101-74 in their last game. Missouri trailed 44-39 at the half, but they were out scored 57-35 in the second half in the loss. The Tigers shot 33.9% from the field and were -13 in rebounding margin in the game. Missouri has lost 17 games in a row and 20 of their last 21. The Tigers are scoring 72.3 points per game with 30.7 rebounds per game and 12.3 assists per game, while allowing 76.3 points against per game this year. Sean East II is averaging 17.6 points per game, 3.3 rebounds per game, and 4.1 assists per game. Missouri is shooting 44% from the field, 79% on free throws, and 32.4% on three pointers this season.

LSU Preview

The LSU Tigers are 16-14 (8-9) this season after they lost to Arkansas by a score of 94-83 in their last game. LSU trailed 42-35 at halftime and allowed 52 second half points in the loss. The Tigers shot 44.8% from the field and made 18 free throws in the game. LSU defeated Vanderbilt by a score of 75-61 and Georgia by a score of 67-66 in the two games prior to Arkansas. The Tigers are scoring 76.6 points per game with 35.7 rebounds per game and 11.7 assists per game, while giving up 74.7 points against per game this season. Jordan Wright is averaging 15.6 points per game, 3.8 rebounds per game, and 2.8 assists per game. LSU is shooting 45.7% from the field, 72% on free throws, and 35.6% on three pointers this year.

Missouri vs LSU Betting Prediction

LSU comes into this game after a disappointing loss on the road against Arkansas, but they will try to end the regular season with a win over Missouri. Missouri has not won a conference game so far this season and they have allowed at least 83 points in four straight games. LSU also struggles on the defensive end of the court, as they are allowing 74.7 points against per game, so we may see a lot of points in this game. I think this is a game that Missouri may sneak up and win, as LSU really has nothing to play for, but I think we are going to see plenty of points and I like the over here.
