I’ll lean toward Providence but this one’s something of a coin flip. The Friars are coming off a nice victory at home over Creighton, shooting 44.9 percent from the field with a 43-32 rebounding edge a 50-32 advantage on points in the paint and just nine turnovers. Providence is just 2-5 in the last seven games, but the good news is that they’re still scoring well. The bad news is that the Friars have given up 88 or more points in four straight outings (a 1-3 run).

As for Marquette, they couldn’t keep pace with DePaul on Friday after a nice first half. The Eagles shot just 5-of-13 (38.5 percent) from the line and had a 38-25 rebounding deficit, as well as giving up 47.7 percent from the field and 45.8 percent (11-of-24) on defense.
