Providence vs. Marquette Prediction

I’m on Marquette here. I get the allure of an underdog in some spots, and Marquette has had their ups and downs at times this season. However, that being said, the Golden Eagles are still the better team by a fair margin here, and I’m not really buying what Providence is selling in all honesty. The Friars’ once proud defense that they could at least hang their hat on when the offense was cold hasn’t been working, as they’ve allowed 80+ points in 4 of their last 5 games. I just think that this is a talented Marquette team that forces turnovers and gets out in transition, and is going to make life difficult for Providence in this game. I think the Golden Eagles keep up their recent dominance of the Friars with a win and cover in this game. Give me Marquette.
