Maryland vs Binghamton 11/15/22 College Basketball Picks, Predictions, Odds

The Binghamton Bearcats and the Maryland Terrapins meet Tuesday in college basketball action from Xfinity Center College Park. Binghamton is 2-0 so far following a close win versus Marist in their last game. As for Maryland, they’re also sitting at 2-0 after a blowout victory versus Western Carolina. Binghamton didn’t have much trouble in their opener versus Cazenovia. The Bearcats jumped out to a 53-32 halftime lead and cruised to the 87-56 result. Tariq Balogun led the way on 17 points, and Armon Harried added 16 points with nine boards. 

In game two versus Marist, the Bearcats had a trickier time but still got the win. Binghamton was up 37-30 by halftime and had to hang on for the 78-75 victory. Both Miles Gibson and Jacob Falko posted 19 points apiece to lead the team. 

Over on the Maryland side, they managed 34 points in the first half and 37 more in the second for a 71-49 blowout win over Niagara in their opener. The Terrapins’ top scorer was Donta Scott with 18 points and six rebounds. 

Matched up against Western Carolina in game two, Maryland cruised again. The Terrapins were up 32-15 by the break and ultimately won 71-51. Julian Reese doubled up with 19 points and 12 rebounds, while Jahmir Young added 16 points. 

PICK: I’m going to stay with Maryland. They haven’t quite faced anyone on their level yet, but the Terrapins are doing well over their first two victories. There are still some things to work on however; Maryland shot just 2-of-19 (10.5 percent) from 3-point range in their win versus Western Carolina. 

As for Binghamton, they’ve looked pretty good themselves over two games so far. This will certainly be the Bearcats’ toughest game yet however, and I don’t think they’ll keep pace for long.
