The Buffalo Bulls and the Miami-OH Redhawks meet Tuesday in college basketball action from Millett Hall. Buffalo sits at 16-8 so far this season. The Bulls beat Western Michigan over the weekend. Buffalo stumbled to a 6-6 run through their first dozen games but things have been much better since. The Bulls are 10-2 in their last 12 outings. They’ve beaten Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan and Western Michigan in the last trio.
Matched up against Western Michigan on Saturday, the Bulls were down 33-38 by halftime. Buffalo fought back on a 54-35 run in an eventual 87-73 win. Jeenathan Williams finished with 24 points, four assists and two steals to lead the team.
Over on the Miami OH side, they won their first five games of the year but have only been able to take consecutive wins twice since then. The Redhawks are 3-1 in their last four outings however, beating Western Michigan, Bowling Green and Northern Illinois.
In the matchup versus Northern Illinois on Saturday, the Redhawks trailed by one point heading into the break. Miami OH hit a 41-37 run in the second for a 78-75 comeback win. Dae Dae led the team with his 19 points, four assists and three boards.
The Redhawks are 0-7 ATS in their last seven Tuesday games and 3-16-2 ATS in their last 21 after an ATS loss. Miami OH is 1-7 ATS in their last eight at home.
Meanwhile, the Bulls are 11-4-1 ATS in their last 16 after an ATS loss and 13-5-1 ATS in their last 19 road games. The over is 4-1 in Buffalo’s last five Tuesday games.Â
PICK: I’m going to stay with Buffalo. The Bulls are scoring well over this six-game win streak. They’ve hit 74 or more points in each game, and 70 or more in five of them. Interestingly enough however, the last time these teams met back on December 29, Miami OH bagged an impressive 91-81 road victory. The Redhawks haven’t quite been able to maintain form since then, but they’re still scoring well. I like this one as a high-total game with Buffalo banging out a cover.Â
