The Southeast Missouri State Redhawks and the Missouri Tigers meet in college basketball action from the Mizzou Arena on Sunday.

The Southeast Missouri State Redhawks will be out to rebound from an 84-68 loss to Milwaukee in their last game. Phillip Russell leads the Redhawks in scoring and assists with 14.6 PPG and 4.2 APG while Chris Harris has 11.6 PPG with 4.8 RPG and Israel Barnes has 10 PPG to cap off the trio of double-digit scorers for the Redhawks up to this point in the season. Kobe Clark also has 9.5 RPG to lead the Redhawks on the glass up to this point in the season. As a team, Southeast Missouri State is averaging 70.4 PPG on 40.3% shooting from the field, 32.5% from three and 72.5% from the foul line this season.

The Missouri Tigers will try to build on an 88-84 OT win over Wichita State last time out. D’Moi Hodge leads the Tigers in scoring with 16.9 PPG along with 4.3 RPG and 2.6 APG while Kobe Brown has 13 PPG with a team-high 5.5 RPG to lead the Tigers on the glass. Noah Carter has 12.6 PPG and 5.1 RPG while Isiaih Mosley has 10.5 PPG with 2.8 APG. to round out the group of double-digit scorers for Missouri so far this season. Sean East II also has a team-high 3.2 APG up to this point in the season for MIzzou. As a team, Missouri is averaging 92.6 PPG on 51.2% shooting from the field, 34.3% from three and 76.6% from the foul line this season.

Southeast Missouri State is 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games against a team with a winning percentage above .600 and 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 road games while the under is 4-0 in their last 4 games following an ATS loss. Missouri is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall while the over is 20-8 in their last 28 games following an ATS win.

This is a massive number to lay with the Tigers, but the problem is that Southeast Missouri State hasn’t really played anyone all that tough this season, but yet they’ve still dropped games in spots and they’re up against their toughest opponent in Missouri, who have had no problems dispatching the lesser teams on their schedule in emphatic fashion all season long to this point. I’ll take the Missouri Tigers in a beatdown.
