Montana vs Idaho Prediction
I’m on Montana in this game. I understand the first two meetings this season were decided by a combined 7 points, but I’m still holding onto concerns about this Idaho defense that, from an efficiency standpoint, was the worst in the Big Sky in conference play. It was the worst at defending inside the perimeter, which is where a lot of Montana’s points come from. Idaho lives on threes and free throws and Montana has a decent three-point defense and is the best in the conference at limiting free throws. Also, Montana had an extra day of rest while Idaho had to play yesterday and is on a back-to-back. I think all of those things add up to a Montana win and cover here.
