Nebraska Cornhuskers Betting Preview

The Nebraska Cornhuskers are 17-13 (7-12) this year after they lost to Ohio State in double overtime by a score of 116-114 in their last game. Nebraska trailed 45-39 at halftime, but they scored 50 points in the second half, before falling just short in the second overtime. Iowa Hawkeyes Betting Preview

The Iowa Hawkeyes are 15-15 (6-13) this season after they lost to Michigan State by a score of 91-84 in their last game. Why Nebraska will beat Iowa

  • Nebraska has won 10 of its last 11 day games at Pinnacle Bank Arena against non-AP-ranked opponents.
  • Iowa has lost nine of its last 10 road games.
  • Iowa has lost the first half in each of its last 10 road games against non-AP-ranked opponents.

Nebraska vs Iowa Prediction

Both of these teams come into this matchup trending in the wrong direction, but Nebraska will have the home court advantage here. The Cornhuskers have lost four games in a row, including two ugly games against Michigan and Minnesota in their last two home games. Iowa has lost three games in a row, but they did have a nice second half lead against Michigan State in their last game, before absolutely falling apart defensively. Iowa is the better offensive team in this matchup, but they are allowing nearly 80 points against per game this year. This Iowa team has been pretty bad over their last 14 games and I don’t trust their defense to get many stops at all. Take Nebraska to cover at home.
