Nicholls was able to fight back from a 68-56 deficit with 9:43 left in regulation to force OT and took the lead for good after a Ty Gordon three-pointer gave the Colonels a 75-72 lead with 3:52 left in OT. The Cowboys are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 road games & 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. The Colonels are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 home games & 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games following a ATS loss.
McNeese has been solid on the offensive side this season, ranking 45th in scoring offense, however, the Cowboys are just 2-10 on the road and have struggled keeping opponents off the scoreboard as they come into this matchup ranked just 310th in scoring defense. Nicholls is 8-1 at home with an offense ranks 29th in scoring offense & 48th in FG%, and as I think the Colonels will be able to pull away in the 2nd half for a double-digit victory, I’m taking Nicholls to cover this home spread. Good Luck!
