North Dakota vs Pacific 11/15/22 College Basketball Picks, Predictions, Odds

The Pacific Tigers and the North Dakota Fighting Hawks meet Tuesday in college basketball action from the Betty. Pacific is 1-1 after a pair of outings. The Tigers beat North Dakota State in their last game. As for North Dakota, they’re also 1-1 and fresh off a loss to Creighton. Pacific started out the season with a matchup versus Stanford. The Tigers were outscored 44-32 in the first half and limped to an 88-78 loss. Jordan Ivy-Curry was the top team scorer with 23 points, and Donovan Williams added 17 points. 

In game two versus North Dakota State, the Tigers managed their first win of the year. Pacific jumped out to a 45-29 lead and ultimately held on for a 91-86 result. Tyler Beard led the team on 21 points, while Williams added another 17 points. 

Over on the North Dakota side, they had a tight matchup with Incarnate Word in their opener. The Hawks had a 28-28 tie at halftime but were able to power out the 65-57 win. Matt Norman was the lead scorer with 14 points. 

Matched up against Creighton in game two, North Dakota was drilled 53-22 in the first half. The Hawks scored 39 more points in the second on the way to a loss 96-61. Tsotne Tsartsidze was the only double-digit scorer with 16 points and one rebound. 

PICK: I’m going to take a stab on North Dakota but probably not touching it. This should be a pretty good matchup regardless, though. The Hawks were completely dominated versus Creighton with a 49-20 rebounding deficit and 14 turnovers. The Incarnate Word opener wasn’t super impressive either, but it was at least a victory. As for Pacific, they didn’t play terribly in their loss to Stanford but they did allow 60.4 percent shooting from the floor and a 36-31 rebounding deficit. The Tigers should tangle pretty well with North Dakota though and it looks like a good game on paper.
