Trends

Akron is 5-2-1 ATS in their last 8 games overall and 2-5-1 ATS in their last 8 road games while the under is 8-3 in their last 11 road games. Ohio is 4-10 ATS in their last 14 games against a team with a winning percentage above .600 and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 home games while the over is 6-1 in their last 7 games overall.

Pick

I’m leaning towards Akron here. Not a game I love necessarily as a bettor but I’ll most likely watch as a fan. Akron’s simply been the better team in conference play and the much more consistent team while Ohio has been very streaky, winning a couple then losing a couple and alternating that pattern. I just feel like Akron needs this game more and a win here would be massive towards their hopes of a MAC regular season crown. Give me the Zips here.
