Kansas Team Preview

The Kansas Jayhawks come into this one looking to build on a 78-66 win over Oklahoma last time out. Kevin McCullar Jr. leads Kansas in scoring with 19.9 PPG along with 6.6 RPG and 4.5 APG while Hunter Dickinson has 19.2 PPG with a team-high 12 RPG, leading the Jayhawks on the glass by averaging a monstrous double-double per game. As a team, Kansas is averaging 78.5 PPG on 50.2% shooting from the field, 35.8% from three and 74.1% from the foul line this season. Kansas will meet West Virginia and Cincinnati after this game.

Oklahoma State Team Preview

The Oklahoma State Cowboys come into this game looking to bounce back from a 66-42 loss to Iowa State last time out. Javon Small leads the Cowboys in scoring and assists with 14.8 PPG and 4.3 APG along with 5.1 RPG while Bryce Thompson has 12.6 PPG as the only other double-digit scorer for OK State so far this season. Eric Dailey Jr. has 9.8 PPG with 5.8 RPG and 2.1 APG and Quion Williams has 7.1 PPG with a team-high 6.2 RPG to lead Oklahoma State on the glass this season. Brandon Garrison also has 6.1 PPG and 6 RPG as well this year. Kansas vs. Oklahoma State Prediction

I’m on Kansas here. I just haven’t loved what I’ve seen from Oklahoma State for the most part and the Cowboys did take Baylor to OT in their lone conference home game, but it took an abnormally bad shooting performance from the Bears to keep themselves in that game. Kansas hasn’t had the most success on the road but this line feels a couple of points light. Give me the Jayhawks here.
