The Prairie View A&M Panthers and the Oklahoma State Cowboys meet in college basketball action from the Gallagher-Iba Arena on Sunday.

The Prairie View A&M Panthers will look to build on their 67-59 win over Arkansas State last time out. Will Douglas leads the Panthers in scoring and assists with 19.3 PPG and 3 APG with 5.7 RPG while Jeremiah Gambrell has 13.8 PPG with 2.5 APG and Yahuza Rasas has 10.5 PPG with a team-high 6.5 RPG to lead the Panthers on the glass and to cap off the trio of double-digit scorers for Prairie View A&M this season. As a team, Prairie View A&M is averaging 80 PPG on 45.7% shooting from the field, 29.1% from three and 77.2% from the foul line this season.

The Oklahoma State Cowboys will try to build on their 82-56 win over Tulsa last time out. Avery Anderson III leads OK State in scoring and assists with 12.2 PPG and 3.3 APG while Bryce Thompson has 10.7 PPG with 4 RPG. John-Michael Wright has 10.3 PPG with 3 RPG and Kalib Boone has 10.3 PPG and 5.8 RPG to cap off the scoring in double figures for the Cowboys up to this point in the season. Moussa Cisse also has 9.5 PPG with a team-high 10.5 RPG to lead the Cowboys on the glass up to this point in the year. As a team, Oklahoma State is averaging 74.7 PPG on 44.9% shooting from the field, 28.8% from three and 72.3% from the foul line this season.

Prairie View A&M is 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 Sunday games while the over is 5-0 in their last 5 games against a team with a winning percentage above .600. Oklahoma State is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a win by 20+ points and 1-7-1 ATS in their last 9 games following an ATS win while the under is 6-1 in their last 7 games against a team with a winning percentage above .600.

I get the case to be made for either side here, but I’m leaning towards Prairie View A&M and the points. Oklahoma State is the better defensive team by a fair margin here, but they play a slow, defensive style which doesn’t result in a ton of points which makes it hard to cover massive lines like these. I think there’s value here with the Panthers and the points.
