Old Dominion was outstanding defensively against Charlotte and had no trouble cruising for victory in the 2^nd half after taking a 35-19 lead into halftime. Old Dominion shot 46.4% from the field & 7.7% from beyond the arc while holding Charlotte to 34.7% shooting from the field & 21.7% from beyond the arc. Leading the way for the Monarchs was Austin Trice who had a double-double with 22 points, 10 rebounds, & 1 block.

On the season, Old Dominion is averaging 66.5 ppg on 43.6% shooting from the field. The Monarchs are averaging 4.5 three-pointers per game on 30.0% shooting from beyond the arc. Offensively, Old Dominion has been led by C.J. Old Dominion is a tough defensive team that I think will give Marshall offense some trouble, and as the Monarchs should be able to do more damage than we’re used to seeing from their offense against a Marshall defense that can’t slow down anyone, I think Old Dominion does enough to cover this small home spread.
