The Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders and the Old Dominion Monarchs meet in college basketball action from the Chartway Arena on Saturday night.
The Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders will look to avenge their 67-61 loss to Old Dominion in their first matchup on Friday. Dontrell Shuler leads the Blue Raiders in scoring and assists with 12.5 PPG with 2.9 APG while Jordan Davis has 11.6 PPG to make up the pair of double-digit scorers for MTSU up to this point in the season. Jalen Jordan has 8.8 PPG and Jo’Vontae Millner-Criss has 8.3 PPG and 5.3 RPG as well this year. I get the case that could be made for either side here, but I’m leaning towards the under. Good or bad, it doesn’t seem to matter, as these two teams just play in low scoring games like it’s going out of style. Whether it be great defense or poor offense, the points won’t find their way onto the board and in the end, I just think this finishes under the number.
