Oral Roberts vs South Dakota Pick – Basketball Predictions & Odds 1/30/23

The South Dakota Coyotes and the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles meet Monday in college basketball action from Mabee Center. South Dakota is 10-12 on the year so far. The Coyotes beat St. Thomas MN in their last game. As for Oral Roberts, they’re currently 19-4 after a win over Omaha on Saturday. South Dakota Coyotes 

South Dakota managed to beat Lipscomb, Dakota State, LIU, Mount Marty, BYU, St. Thomas MN and Western Illinois in their first 15 games this year. The Coyotes are 3-4 in their last seven with wins over North Dakota, Omaha and St. Thomas MN. 

In the St. Thomas MN game on Saturday, South Dakota was up 35-26 at the break. The Coyotes hit a 46-41 run in the second and got the win 81-67. Tasos Kamateros led the team on 20 points with nine rebounds. 

Oral Roberts Golden Eagles 

Over on the Oral Roberts side, they were 12-3 through 15 games this year, falling to only Saint Mary’s, Houston and Utah State along the way. The Eagles are 7-1 since then with a lone loss to New Mexico during that time. 

In the Omaha game on Saturday, the Eagles were up 32-30 in the locker room. Oral Roberts posted a 41-34 advantage in the second half for a 73-64 victory. Connor Vanover was the high man on 23 points and 10 rebounds. 

ANDREW’S FREE PICK 

I’m leaning toward Oral Roberts in this one. The line’s probably a little thick to mess with, though. The Eagles are looking good lately, and they’ve only lost one game since November 22. Oral Roberts has scored well also; they’ve got 73 or more points in a whopping 20 straight games. As for South Dakota, they’re 2-1 in their last three and coming off a nice win over a tricky Tommies team. The Coyotes have scored 72 or more points in three straight but I don’t think they’ll keep up with Oral Roberts if the Eagles get moving.
