Oregon vs. Saint Mary’s 11/23/2021 College Basketball Picks, Best Bets and Odds

The Oregon Ducks come into this one looking to add to their win by a socre of 73-49 win over Chaminade last time out. Will Richardson leads the Ducks in scoring with 15.3 PPG along with 3 RPG while Jacob Young has 13.3 PPG and Eric Williams Jr. has 12.7 PPG with 4.3 RPG as well. De’Vion Harmon has 9 PPG and 2.3 APG to least the Ducks in assists while Quincy Guerrier has a team-high 7.7 RPG this season. As a team Oregon is averaging 72.8 PPG on 42.4% shooting from the field, 32.3% from three and 67.1% from the foul line while allowing 64.8 PPG on 43.3% shooting from the field and 32.1% from three this season.

The Saint Mary’s Gaels will try to add to a 62-59 win over Notre Dame in their last game. Dan Fotu has a team-high 13.3 PPG with 5.8 RPG while Logan Johnson and Matthias Tass each have 11.5 PPG with 2.8 APG and Johnson has 3.5 RPG. Ale x Ducas has 11.33 PPG with 4.5 RPG and Tommy Kuhse has 10.3 PPG with a team-high 4 APG. Kyle Bowen also has 7.8 RPG as well for the Gaels this season. As a team, Saint Mary’s is averaging 71.8 PPG on 45.3% shooting from the field, 35.5% from three and 66.7% from the foul line while allowing 60 PPG on 42.3% shooting from the field and 31.5% from three this season.

On such a quick turnaround with some new players in the rosters, itcan be hard to get a feel for which team has the edge in a spot like this. However, Oregon is simply the better team from a talent standpoint and I just don’t know if the Gaels have the horses to hang with ORegon here. Sure, the Ducks haven’t lit the scoreboard on fire, but they’re more likely to do so than Saint Mary’s who thrives in a first to 60-65 type of game. Give me the Ducks here.
