The Montana Grizzlies and the Portland State Vikings meet Saturday in college basketball action from Stott Center. Montana is fresh off a Thursday matchup versus Sacramento State. On Thursday versus Montana State, Portland State trailed 36-34 at the break. The Vikings didn’t end up getting any closer with a 39-32 second half deficit in a 75-66 loss. Cameron Parker was tops with 23 points and four assists.

I’ll lean toward Portland State here. Neither of these teams is doing all that well lately, but this should at least be a fairly competitive matchup. The Vikings are just 1-3 in their last four, but the good news is that they’re still scoring fairly well. Portland State has hit 66 or more points in seven straight outings. As for Montana, they’re on a 1-4 stretch themselves with 57 or fewer points in three of the four losses. If Portland State can get off to a good start I think they’ll be okay cover/win-wise. Probably not touching it, though.
