Providence vs Villanova Prediction
I’m on Villanova here. Let’s face it. The last two years have been pain for the Villanova program, and this season feels like the closest that the Wildcats have come to the NCAA tournament by a fair margin and I think that Villanova knows they can ill afford to slip up here if this team is serious about breaking that drought and getting back to the Big Dance. Providence is in a tailspin right now because the defense that the Friars have been able to lean on for so long now looks frail and inconsistent, and I think that Villanova takes advantage, even in a sandwich spot off of the win against St. John’s before games against UConn and Marquette. Give me the Wildcats here.
