The Dartmouth Big Green and the Quinnipiac Bobcats meet in college basketball action from the M&T Bank Arena on Tuesday night.
The Dartmouth Big Green will be looking to build on their first win after a 107-52 win over subdivision Massachusetts College last time out. Robert McRae III led the Big Green with 18 points on 5 of 7 shooting with 3 threes while Dusan Neskovic had 16 points on a perfect 7 of 7 from the floor with a pair of threes. Ryan Cornish and Jackson Munro each had 10 points to cap off the scoring in double figures for Dartmouth in the win with Cornish shooting 4 of 5 with a pair of threes while Munro went 5 of 7 with 6 rebounds. Dame Adelekun added 8 points with team-highs of 8 rebounds and 5 assists as well in the win for Dartmouth.
The Quinnipiac Bobcats will try to remain unbeaten after a 72-70 win over Central Connecticut State last time out. Matt Balanc led the Bobcats with 17 points on 7 of 14 shooting with a pair of threes while Tymu Chenery added 13 points with 6 rebounds and Ike Nweke added 10 points to cap off the trio of double-digit scorers for Quinnipiac in the win. Paul Otteno added a team-high 8 rebounds while Savion Lewis dished out a team-high 7 assists in the win.
Dartmouth is 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games overall and 9-4-1 ATS in their last 14 games against a team with a winning record while the over is 4-0 in their last 4 games overall. Quinnipiac is 0-4 ATS in their last 4 home games and 1-6-1 ATS in their last 8 home games against a team with a losing road record while the under is 6-1 in their last 7 games following an ATS loss.
I get the case to be made for either side here, but I’m looking at the Bobcats here. Quinnipiac’s offense has been rock solid early on and while there was a close call against Central Connecticut last time out, the Bobcats are still more trustworthy offensively than Dartmouth. I just don’t see a clear direction for this Dartmouth team. Give me Quinnipiac by double digits.
