The Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders and the Rider Broncs meet in college basketball action from the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya on Tuesday.

The Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders will be looking to bounce back from an 87-74 loss at the hands of Stephen F. Austin last time out. Josh Jefferson leads the Blue Riaders in scoring with 13.8 PPG along with Eli Lawrence who has 11.5 PPG with a team-high 5 RPG as the only other double-digit scorer for Middle Tennessee so far this season. Camryn Weston also has a team-high 3.2 APG while Deandre Dishman has 8.8 PPG on the year. As a team, Middle Tennessee is averaging 79.8 PPG on 48% shooting from the field, 27.5% from three and 75.8% from the foul line while allowing 65.5 PPG on 46% shooting form the field and 36.8% from three this season.

The Rider Broncs need to rebound from a 87-65 loss at the hands of Buffalo in their last game. Dwight Murray Jr. leads the Broncs in scoring with 17.4 PPG along with 5.8 RPG and 2.4 APG while Dimencio Vaughn also has 11.4 PPG and 6 RPG as the only other double-digit scorer for Rider this season. Allen Powell has 8.6 PPG and Mervin James has 7.8 PPG while Ajiri Ogemuno-Johnson has a team-high 8.2 RPG this season. As a team, Rider is averaging 68.8 PPG on 37.4% from the field, 23.9% from three and 73.6% from the foul line while allowing 72.6 PPG on 41.5% shooting from the field and 37.5% from three.

Middle Tennessee is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 Tuesday games and 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games as a favorite while the under is 12-2 in their last 14 games following an ATS loss. Rider is 2-7 ATS in their last 9 neutral site games as a favoriet and 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games overall while the over is 5-1 in their last 6 games following a loss by 20 or more points.

This is an interesting spot for Rider as they’re a solid team, but realistically, it’s hard to back them when they’re 0-5 ATS this season. Sure, those numbers won’t last, but they’re enough to go off of right now. Middle Tennessee was tempting getting a point but even with the line flipping, I still like the Blue Raiders on a win and cover here.
