Dartmouth Big Green
Dartmouth has had issues with consistency this year, as the team hasn’t been able to win consecutive games yet. The Big Green went 3-7 over their first 10 outings, taking losses to Duke, UMass Lowell, Saint Louis, Vermont, Albany, Marist and Le Moyne along the way.
In their latest matchup versus Thomas (ME), the Big Green were able to bag another victory. Dartmouth went into the break with a 39-21 edge and cruised on a 38-27 run from there for a 77-48 outcome. Topping the team was Connor Christensen with 15 points and five rebounds.

Sacred Heart Pioneers
Over on the Sacred Heart side, they got off to a pretty good 4-2 start this year with wins over Sarah Lawrence, Holy Cross, Loyola MD and Binghamton. Unfortunately, losses to Saint Joseph’s, New Hampshire, Boston U, St. John’s, Fairfield and Providence came in the next six games.
In their Tuesday matchup versus Albany, the Pioneers were outscored 45-38 in the first half and didn’t get any closer in an eventual 93-79 result. Leading team scorer Alex Sobel put up 23 points, and Aidan Carpenter added 16 points with four assists and three rebounds.
ANDREW’S FREE DARTMOUTH VS SACRED HEART PREDICTION
I’ll probably just stay with Dartmouth. There’s not a lot to like about this matchup, though. The Big Green are coming off a pretty easy win over Thomas (ME) despite shooting a tepid 42.4 percent from the field and 27.6 percent (8-of-29) from 3-point range. It’s been a tough run scoring-wise for Dartmouth this year, as they’ve hit 63 or fewer points in three of their last four games. Sacred Heart hasn’t been very good on the scoreboard lately themselves, so this one could turn into a messy low-scoring affair. I’m leaning toward Dartmouth cover-wise, but it’s probably one to stay away from.
