The Saint Joseph’s Hawks will be on the hunt to build on an 83-66 win over Central Connecticut State last time out. Erik Reynolds II leads the Hawks in scoring with 18.6 PPG while Cameron Brown has 13.8 PPG with 6.1 RPG this season. Lynn Greer III has 10.3 PPG with a team-high 3.8 APG to lead the Hawks in assists and to cap off the trio of double-digit scorers for Saint Joseph’s up to this point in the season. As a team, Saint Joseph’s is averaging 71.2 PPG on 42.1% shooting from the field, 33.7% from three and 69.5% from the foul line this season.

Saint Louis is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following an ATS loss and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 road games following three or more consecutive home games while the over is 5-1 in their last 6 Saturday games. Saint Joseph’s is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 home games and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games overall while the under is 4-1 in their last 5 games overall.

I get the case to be made for the Hawks here as they’re battle tested and are a home dog here, but I still am holding out hope that we’ve yet to see the best the Billikens have to offer here. Saint Louis is the better and more talented team here and I think that conference play is when we’ll really see them turn it on. I think Saint Louis comes in and wins this one by double-digits, so give me the Billikens here.
