The St. Bonaventure Bonnies and the Saint Louis Billikens meet in college basketball action from the Chaifetz Arena on Friday night.

The St. Bonaventure Bonnies will look to build on a 76-51 win over Fordham last time out. Jalen Adaway leads the Bonnies in scoring with 15.4 PPG along with 6.7 RPG while Jaren Holmes has 14.4 PPG with 5.7 RPG and 3.9 APG this season. Kyle Lofton has 14.1 PPG with a team-high 5.2 APG to lead the Bonnies in the assist department this season. Dominick Welch has 11.5 PPG with 5.6 RPG and Osun Osunniyi has 10.3 PPG with a team-high 7.8 RPG to lead the Bonnies on the glass this season. As a team, St. Bonaventure is averaging 71.5 PPG on 45% shooting from the field, 33.3% from three and 77.3% from the foul line while allowing 68.5 PPG on 41.5% shooting from the field and 34.7% from three this season.

The Saint Louis Billikens will try to build on their win streak after a 75-57 road win over La Salle last time out. Gibson Jimerson leads the Billikens in scoring with 17.2 PPG while Yuri Collins has 11.5 PPG with a team-high 8.4 APG this season. Jordan Nesbitt has 9.3 PPG with 4.6 RPG while Marten Linssen has 8.5 PPG with 3.9 RPG this season. Francis Okoro has 10 points with a team-high 7.7 RPG as well for the Billikens up to this point in the season. As a team, Saint Louis is averaging 79.4 PPG on 45.8% shooting from the field, 36.3% from three and 77.5% from the foul line while allowing 67.1 PPG on 40.8% shooting from the field and 31.7% from three this season.

St. Bonaventure is 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games against a team with a winning record and 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games following a win while the under is 7-0 in their last 7 games against a team with a winning record. Saint Louis is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games overall and 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games against a team with a winning percentage above .600 while the under is 10-1 in their last 11 games against a team with a winning record.

I get the case for the Bonnies with the points as Saint Bonaventure has historically been a strong team in the A-10. However, they’ve struggled on the road this season and while Saint Louis hasn’t played the toughest schedule at home, the win over Dayton in their last home game was a big showing that the Billikens can take down anyone at home and I think they do just that against the Bonnies here. Give me Saint Louis laying the points here.
