The Quinnipiac Bobcats and the St. Peter’s Peacocks meet in college basketball action from the Yanitelli Center on Friday night.
The Quinnipiac Bobcats come into this one alternating wins and losses in each of their last four games following an 85-76 loss to Siena in their last game. Matt Balanc has a team-high 14.7 PPG while Kevin Marfo has 10.6 PPG with a team-high 10.8 RPG to lead the Bobcats on the glass, averaging a double-double per game and Dezi Jones has 10.1 PPG to make up the trio of double-digit scorers for Quinnipiac so far this season. I get the case to be made either way here and I’m normally a fan of backing unders with Saint Peter’s on the floor, but I’m going with the over in this one. The Peacocks have started to take on the role of matching the style of their opponent and Quinnipiac tends to play a higher-scoring brand of basketball where there’s a lot of scoring and not a lot of emphasis on defense. I think we could end up seeing more of the same here so give me the over.
